The computer-based CLEP is administered at Columbus State University by appointment on most weekdays between the hours of 9 a.m. through 5 p.m. Each test takes approximately two hours.

You can register in person at the Testing Center, Room 207, Turner Center or you may register by phone with a Visa, MasterCard or American Express card. The processing fee for each test is $20, and it is non-refundable. On the day of your test, you will bring a check or money order made out to CLEP in the amount of $72; you may also pay this fee by credit card on the day that you test.

PLEASE NOTE: If for any reason you cannot take the exam on the date for which you registered, you may re-schedule your exam for an additional, non-refundable $20 processing fee.

CLEP scores are based on Pass/Fail at Columbus State University. You will receive an unofficial copy of your score report as soon as you complete the test. The Official score report will be sent to the appropriate institution three days after you test.
