eCore
eCore®—short for electronic core curriculum—allows University System of Georgia students the opportunity to complete their first two years (the “core” curriculum) of their collegiate careers in an online environment. While originally designed for the non-traditional student, many currently enrolled students find eCore® presents an opportunity for increasing flexibility and convenience in their course load management.

The only elements of eCore courses that are not online are exams. As an eCore student, you are responsible for scheduling and taking proctored midterm and final exams at an approved testing center.

Midterm and final exam dates for each semester will be provided by your instructor in your course syllabus. At least three weeks prior to each exam, you must schedule an appointment to test with the Testing Center, and then submit an Exam Request Form (see below) to the eCore office that indicates where and when you have scheduled an appointment to take your exam.

Proctor fee (payable to CSU): $20 per exam

For details on scheduling eCore exams, go to www.georgiacenter.uga.edu/ecore/exams/index.html.
